Unplug the charger and remove the battery from the charger or tool

Ensure the air compressor is turned off

Remove the battery pack from the air compressor

Release all pressure from the air compressor

Disconnect air hose and air tools

Allow the unit to cool to the touch

Drain the tank of the air compressor

Unplug the charger and remove the battery from the charger or tool before maintenance.

Ensure the air compressor is turned off and the battery pack is removed.

Release all pressure and disconnect air hose and air tools.

Allow unit to cool to the touch and drain the tank before cleaning or repairs.

Inspect tool for undue noise, misalignment, or binding of moving parts.

Check for breakage of parts or any condition affecting tool operation.

Is the tool, battery, and charger in good repair?

Turn the air compressor to Auto On (I) and allow the tank to fill

Turn the air compressor Off (O)

Pull the ring on the release valve to release air pressure for three to five seconds

Did the release valve reset and hold pressure?

If air continues to escape once the release valve is closed, contact a MILWAUKEE service facility for repairs
