Locks Adjustment

Check mark

There are two methods for adjusting the locks installed in the vent. The locks adjustment order is irrelevant, since they operate independently.

Check mark

Method 1 – adjusting the lock installation height:

Check mark

The screws that secure the lock and are responsible for adjustment are shown in Fig. 42 – marked with the number "2". Adjustment may be performed within a range of about 5 mm.

Check mark

After correcting the height (if necessary), tighten the screws and secure the lock from unintended moving using a counter self-drilling screw – marked as item "1" on Fig. 42.

Check mark

Method 2 – adjusting the electromagnet anchor position:

Check mark

After closing the anchor, its entire surface should adhere to the electromagnet. If a situation shown on Fig. 46, occurs that the anchor does not close completely, adjust it so that the surfaces of the electromagnet and the anchor lie parallel towards each other when closed.

Check mark

If the lock (or both locks) do not function properly, the reason may be their wrong adjustment. In such case, the adjustment activities described above must be performed.;
