- Check weld cable, control cables and gas hoses for cuts. - Calibration of the Flex Feed 84 may be required when the p.c. board or the motor is replaced or serviced.

Clean the drive rolls and inner wire guide and replace if worn. Blow out or vacuum the inside of the feeder.

Clean interior of machine with a low pressure air stream. Make a thorough inspection of all components. Look for signs of overheating, broken leads or other obvious problems. Many problems can be uncovered with a good visual inspection.

Inspect the motor brushes every 6 months. Replace if shorter than 0.5” (12.7mm).
