Loosen and remove the two battery pack screws

Carefully remove the battery pack from the console

Insert replacement batteries into the battery pack in their proper orientation

Insert battery pack into console

Tighten battery pack screws to 16-20 in-lbs (1.8-2.2 Nm)

Sign off on the battery replacement

Clean upholstery with an approved or compatible cleaner

Wipe down upholstery with a mild soap and water or comparable all purpose cleaner

Inspect cables for wear or damage and proper tension

Inspect shrouds for damage and clean as necessary

Use polishing compound and remove shoe scuffs from powder coated surfaces as necessary

Clean the shrouds with an approved or compatible cleaner

Remove fresh paint splashes, grease and smeared glazing compounds before drying by rubbing lightly with isopropyl alcohol

Use Life Fitness Approved Cleaners (PureGreen 24 and Gym Wipes) for cleaning

Use Compatible Cleaners (Mild soap and water or a mild non-abrasive household cleaner) for cleaning the display and all exterior surfaces

Visually inspect all hardware for loosening, tampering or wear

Check Jam Nut at top of weight stack for tightness

Inspect all accessories, connecting links, and carabiner clips for wear

Check cables for stretch and adjust as necessary by loosening the large Jam Nut on top of the weight stack and by screwing in the Threaded Plug until cable is tight and the weight stack pin goes in all holes easily

Securely tighten the large Jam Nut when finished

Sign off on the machine maintenance

- Clean hand grips with an approved or compatible cleaner.

- Wax frames with a standard, non-abrasive, wax finish.

- Lubricate guide rods with Break-Free® brand lubricant (part number SK50-P0005-0000). Apply the lubricant to a cotton cloth, and then run the cotton cloth up and down the guide rods as needed.

Note: Only a few drops of lubricant are required for each guide rod.

Use polishing compound (such as car wax) and remove shoe scuffs from powder coated surfaces as necessary.

Adherence to regular and proper cleaning procedures is recommended to preserve the appearance.

Note: Spray the approved cleaner on a towel, and then wipe down the shrouds to avoid saturation of shroud inlays.
