System Pressure and Airflow Verification

Air Filter and Blower Inspection

Inspect air filters in indoor unit.

Was the air filter cleaned or replaced?

Check the cleanliness of indoor blower.

Inspect component wiring for loose, worn or damaged connections.

Check for any rubbing or pinching of wires.

Confirm proper voltage of outdoor unit.

Confirm proper amperage of outdoor unit.

Check cleanliness of outdoor fan and blade assemblies.

Check condition of fan blades for cracks.

Clean or replace fan blades if necessary.

Ensure the use of a regulator that can control pressure down to 1 or 2 psig (6.9 to 13.8 kPa) when using high pressure gas.

Verify that the leak detector is capable of sensing HFC refrigerant.

Ensure refrigerant is used and recovered responsibly to prevent personal injury or death.
