Check the indoor unit drain line for obstructions monthly

Ensure the EL17XC1 unit is powered off

Verify that the refrigerant piping is connected

Measure the length of refrigerant piping in feet

Calculate additional refrigerant charge for piping over 15 feet

Locate the unit charging sticker on the unit access panel

Check the current refrigerant charge level

Adjust nitrogen pressure to 150 psig (1034 kPa)

Verify refrigerant is measurable with a leak detector

Disconnect gauges from service ports

Reconnect the manifold gauge set

Inspect component wiring for loose, worn or damaged connections.
