1 Monthly Filters Maintenance
CAUTION Electrical shock hazard. Turn off power to unit before performing any maintenance, cleaning or service operation on the unit.
GCS16 unit is equipped with four pleated 2\ throw-away type filters. Permanent 1\" foam filters are acceptable replacements."

If permanent foam filters are used as a replacement, they should be checked and cleaned periodically with warm water and a mild detergent.

1 Monthly Condenser Coil Maintenance
CAUTION Electrical shock hazard. Turn off power to unit before performing any maintenance, cleaning or service operation on the unit.
CAUTION Be careful when servicing unit to avoid accidental contact with sharp metallic edges which may cause personal injury.
Inspect connecting lines and coil for evidence of oil leaks.
Check if dirt and debris are trapped between the slabs.
Clean between slabs, carefully separate slabs and wash thoroughly.
NOTE-If owner complains of insufficient cooling, refrigerant charge should be checked.
Check refrigerant charge if there are complaints of insufficient cooling.

3 Monthly Evaporator Coil Maintenance
CAUTION Electrical shock hazard. Turn off power to unit before performing any maintenance, cleaning or service operation on the unit.
CAUTION Be careful when servicing unit to avoid accidental contact with sharp metallic edges which may cause personal injury.
Inspect and clean coil at beginning of each season.
Clean using mild detergent or commercial coil cleanser.
Check condensate drain pan and line, if necessary.
Flush coil and condensate drain with water taking care not to get insulation, filters, return air ducts wet.
Check connecting lines and coil for evidence of oil leaks.
Sign off on the evaporator coil maintenance
1 Yearly Supply Air Blower Wheel Maintenance

Turn off power before attempting to remove access panel or to clean blower wheel.
Annually inspect supply air blower wheel for accumulated dirt or dust.
