Check Engine Oil Level

Check Engine Coolant Level

Check Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Level

Park tractor on level surface.

Lower rear hitch and front-mounted implements (if equipped).

7220 and 7320 Tractors

Unscrew dipstick (A), remove it and wipe it clean.

Screw-in dipstick fully, remove it and check oil level.

Oil level should be between marks on the dipstick. Add oil at filler neck as necessary.

1000 Hourly Maintenance

Change IVT Transmission/Hydraulic System Oil

Start engine and operate several hydraulic functions to heat oil.

Park tractor on level surface. Lower rear hitch and front-mounted implements (if equipped).

Stop the engine and remove the key.

Remove drain plugs (A).

Replace transmission/hydraulic oil filters (B).

Replace seals and tighten drain screws to 50 Nom (35 lb-ft).

Add transmission/hydraulic oil to the transmission case.

Change PowrQuad Plus Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Filter

Unscrew filter elements

Coat sealing rings of new filter elements with grease or oil and screw-in filter elements

Used original John Deere filter elements only?

Change Front PTO Oil Filter

Check Seat Belt for Signs of Wear

Check Engine Speeds
