Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Avoid using a water jet for cleaning

Read and understand the instructions for using a neutral cleaner or sodium hypochlorite

Wipe the exterior with a clean, soft cloth

Use a damp cloth with a neutral cleaner to remove grease or dirt

Treat external surfaces with a stainless steel care product

Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Ensure no water jet is used for cleaning

Storage Bin Interior Cleaning/Sanitisation (Weekly)

Open the storage bin door and remove all ice

Wash the bin liner with a neutral non-abrasive cleaner and rinse thoroughly

Soak a clean cloth with the neutral cleaner and wipe both sides of the slope and the door inner surface

Wipe off the cleaner with a clean damp cloth

Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Ensure no water jet is used for cleaning

Use a neutral cleaner or sodium hypochlorite as per instructions

Ensure plastic parts are not cleaned with water above 40°C or in a dishwasher

Ask a trained service person to check and clean the condenser

WARNING: Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network before cleaning or maintenance.

Ensure the appliance is not cleaned using a water jet.

CAUTION: Read and understand instructions for neutral cleaner or sodium hypochlorite to prevent health problems.

Mix 1 litre of water with 4 ml of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution or use recommended Hoshizaki sanitiser as directed.

Scoop cleaning and sanitisation

Soak the scoop in the sanitising solution for more than 3 minutes.

Rinse the scoop thoroughly and shake to remove surplus liquid.

Storage bin handle cleaning and sanitisation

Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Ensure no water jet is used for cleaning

Read and understand instructions for using neutral cleaner or sodium hypochlorite

Slide the air filter off the filter guide or louver

Clean the air filter using a vacuum cleaner

If severely clogged, wash the air filter with warm water and a neutral cleaner
