Ensure the use of light bulbs that meet or exceed NSF standards

Verify that the light bulbs are specifically designed for food holding areas

Has the unit cooled down completely?

Unscrew the existing light bulb from the unit

Replace with a new specially-coated incandescent bulb

Turn off the unit and allow the unit to cool

Wipe down all metal surfaces with a water-dampened, non-abrasive cloth

Describe any stubborn stains and cleaning methods used

Clean hard to reach areas using a small brush and mild soap

Wipe dry the entire unit using a non-abrasive, dry cloth

Read all safety messages in the IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section before operating the equipment.

Ensure caution is used when touching exterior surfaces as they may be hot.

Operate unit without food product until smoke dissipates from manufacturing oils.

Allow 15–20 minutes for the unit to reach operating temperature.

Ensure toggle switches are not used on circuits exceeding 15 amps.
