Initial 100 Hours Purge Muffler Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Enter the current hours of operation
Purge mufflers preventing high noise levels?
Muffler elements clogged?
If muffler elements are clogged, replace them.
Purge tower showing backpressure during operation?
If purge tower shows backpressure, replace the muffler element.
Desiccant dust accumulation prior to equipment startup?
If there is desiccant dust accumulation, clean it.
Purge Rate Maintenance
Warning: The Blower Polishing and External Heated modes of operation require an adequate supply of purge air which is essential for proper regeneration of desiccant and good dewpoint suppression.
If your system pressure varies throughout the day, set the purge pressure at a low-pressure period so during those low-pressure periods the purge flow is not starved.
Always consult the factory prior to changing operating conditions.
Set the adjustable purge valve to the required value for equipment operating at standard conditions.
Is the purge valve open?
DO NOT operate the dryer with the purge valve closed the flow path is required in all modes for repressurization.

4 Monthly Blower Intake Filter Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Blower intake filter changed within last 4 months?
If not, replace the filter immediately to avoid high motor amperages and elevated blower discharge temperatures.
Enter the filter differential in H²O
Is the filter differential below 10” of H²O?
If not, replace the filter immediately to avoid non-warranty blower failure.

6 Monthly Purge Muffler Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Purge mufflers preventing high noise levels?
Muffler elements clogged due to desiccant fines?
Is there backpressure in the purge tower during operation?
If there is backpressure, replace the muffler element.
Desiccant dust accumulation prior to equipment startup?
If there is dust accumulation, clean the purge exhaust valve.
Is the initial purge muffler element's life limited due to high volume of desiccant fines from startup?
If the life of the initial purge muffler element is limited, replace it.
3 Yearly Desiccant Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Is the desiccant contaminated?
If desiccant is contaminated, it must be dealt with based on the amount of oil contamination.
Is the coalescing pre-filter in good condition?
Close preventative maintenance of the coalescing pre-filter will extend the life of the desiccant.
Is the desiccant drained through the desiccant drain port?
Spent desiccant should be drained through the desiccant drain port in the bottom of each tank.
Is the fresh desiccant added through the desiccant fill port?
Fresh desiccant should be added through the desiccant fill port, where the pressure safety relief valves are located.
