Graco Electronic Metered Dispense Valve 24F890

Warning: Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure to prevent serious injury from pressurized fluid.

Power supply to the pump turned off

Dispense valve triggered into a grounded waste container to relieve pressure

Any bleed-type master air valves and fluid drain valves in the system opened

Drain valve left open until ready to pressurize the system

O-ring and filter removed from inside of the swivel with an o-ring pick

New filter pushed into the swivel and properly seated

Warning: Only replace the battery in a non-hazardous location, away from flammable fluids or fumes.

Select the type of battery used

If the display is not blank, wait until the unit falls asleep and the display is blank before proceeding.

Successfully removed the old battery?

Successfully inserted the new battery?

Upload a photo of the device with the new battery

Sign off on the battery replacement

Warning: Do not over tighten the extension to sealing nut. Over tightening may cause the meter casting to split.

Sealing nut threaded into the extension?

Extension threaded into meter outlet securely?

Notice: Do not use a twist/lock or manual shut off nozzle. An automatic nozzle must be used on the meter or the meter could be damaged.

New nozzle threaded onto the extension and tightened firmly?

Note: Tighten the nozzle with the wrench only on the flats of the nozzle bushing. Do not disassemble the bushing from the nozzle, it will affect the performance of the nozzle.

All dispense position shut off valves opened and pump started to pressurize the system?

To ensure dispensing accuracy, purge all of the air from the fluid lines and dispense valve before use.

Set the system to flow at the desired flow rate, typically 1.5 gpm (5.7 l/m). Do not exceed a 5 gpm (18.9 l/m) flow rate.
