Refer to special instructions in Body Cover Replacement if replacement is needed.

Install a new body cover gasket.

Use a soft-faced mallet to tap the body cover into place on the dowel pins.

Secure the body cover with the attaching hardware.

Are the dowel pins fully seated into the body cover?

Return the pump to the factory if body cover replacement is required.

Install a new body cover gasket.

Pump and Seal Disassembly and Reassembly

Ensure safety measures are in place

Clean and reinstall the drain plugs

Follow safety practices for volatile and/or flammable liquids

Remove the coupling guard and loosen the coupling on the pump drive shaft

Separate the power source and drive components from the pump

Lubrication — Oil Lubricated Bearings

Check the oil level at the oil cup

Remove the air vent if lubrication is required

Add SAE No. 30 non-detergent oil through the hole if lubrication is required

Refill the bearing housing with clean oil

Is the pump operated continuously or in an environment with rapid temperature change?

Change the oil more frequently if necessary

Inspect the impeller for damage

Does the impeller have wear rings?

If wear rings are present, do they require replacement?

Consult the factory for the new impeller part number if replacement is needed

Install the impeller key and slide the impeller onto the shaft

Immobilize the impeller and secure it with the tab washer and impeller nut

Bend the tabs on the washer over the impeller nut
