Check pump for proper operation

Filter and Strainer Maintenance

Replace or clean all filters and line strainers

Inspect component parts of the cartridge for damage, wear, or heat distortion

Note any damage to Stage components

Follow reverse order of disassembly procedure

Ensure proper replacement of the rotary seal

Place block of wood underneath pump barrel to stabilize pump

Thread pipe into pump inlet port to act as a handle

Remove the discharge head using pipe wrench, turning CCW

Loosen the barrel with strap wrench, turning CCW

Place block of wood underneath pump barrel to stabilize pump during disassembly

Thread pipe into pump inlet port to act as a handle

Remove the discharge head using a pipe wrench, turning counter clockwise

Loosen the barrel with a strap wrench, turning counter clockwise

Position pump in upright position, standing unit on the motor end cover

Was the pump used for spraying insecticides?

Flush pump with clean water if used for spraying insecticides

Check motor bearings for lubrication
