Pull up the spacer metal fitting

Insert a finger into the rear of the card and pull up the card slowly in the arrow direction

Push back the card softly when one side of the card board is raised slightly

Pinch two sides of the card board and pull up the card board when it is parallel with the main board

Check that the metal fittings of the spacers are raised

Touch the spacer end faces of the board with the spacer to align the board insertion position

Lower the connector side slowly until the connectors touch each other while aligning the board with the spacers

Exterior of the robot cleaned to remove accumulated dust

Appropriate methods used for cleaning and removing accumulated dust

Interior of the robot thoroughly cleaned with a lint free rag to remove any accumulated dust

Covers replaced immediately after dust removal

Complete purge cycle run after covers are replaced

Robot energized after purge cycle

Sign off on the maintenance procedure

Check the cable connected to the teach pendant for excessive twisting

Check the controller and peripheral devices for abnormalities

Return the robot to the specified position

Check the system parts for any damage or cracks

If the ventilation port of the controller is dusty, clean it

If the fan has dirt and dust built up, clean the fan according to the steps described below for inspection to be performed every 6 months.

Periodic inspection performed every six months

Replace the battery on the front panel of the main board every 4 years. Please refer to the Section 7.11.

Sign off on the monthly maintenance

Check the voltage at the screw above the LED 'V4'

Is the remaining voltage not higher than 50V?

Detach the cables from the 6-Axis servo amplifier

Remove (2) screws fastening the 6-Axis servo amplifier

Hold the handle at the upper side of the amplifier and remove 6-Axis servo amplifier

Install a replacement amplifier by reversing above procedure

Sign off on the amplifier replacement
