Area surrounding the UPS system is not cluttered, allowing free access to the unit

Air intakes (vents on the front door of the UPS cabinet) and the exhaust openings (at the rear of the UPS cabinet) are not blocked

UPS is in the normal mode (the normal mode status indicator is illuminated)

Is an alarm lamp lit or the normal mode status indicator not lit?

If an alarm lamp is lit or the normal mode status indicator is not lit, contact an Eaton service representative

Sign off on the 1 Day Inspection

Inspect the UPS for evidence of overheating

Inspect components, wiring, and connections for evidence of overheating

Inspect bolted connections for evidence of overheating

Re-torque bolted connections periodically

Examine the system parameters on the control panel

If the optional air filters are installed, examine them (located behind the front doors)

Wash or replace the air filters

Record the check results and any corrective actions in a service log

Preventive should be performed only by authorized service personnel familiar with maintenance and servicing of the UPS system every 1 Year
