Pressure Washer Connections Maintenance
WARNING! Risk of burn hazard. When performing maintenance, you may be exposed to hot surfaces, water pressure or moving parts that can cause serious injury or death.
WARNING! Risk of fire hazard. Always disconnect, spark plug wire, let the engine cool and release all water pressure before performing any maintenance or repair. The engine contains flammable fuel. Do not smoke or work near open flames while performing maintenance.
Disconnect spark plug wire
Let the engine cool
Release all water pressure
Clean connections on pressure washer hoses, gun and spray wand
Lubricate connections with light oil or lithium grease
Check for leakage and damage to the o-rings
Sign off on the maintenance procedure
1 Weekly Pressure Washer Cleaning

WARNING! Risk of fire hazard. Always disconnect, spark plug wire, let the engine cool and release all water pressure before performing any maintenance or repair. The engine contains flammable fuel. Do not smoke or work near open flames while performing maintenance.
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of all air vents with clean, dry air at least once a week. To minimize the risk of eye injury, always wear ANSI Z87.1 approved eye protection when performing this.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the tool. These chemicals may weaken the plastic materials used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened only with water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool into a liquid.

Pressure Washer Filter Cleaning

Is the engine cool and all water pressure released?
Is the spark plug wire disconnected?
Is the water inlet filter removed?
Is the filter cleaned by flushing it with water on both sides?
Is the filter re-inserted into water inlet of pump with cone side facing out?

Pressure Washer Nozzle Cleaning

WARNING! Risk of fire hazard. Always disconnect, spark plug wire, let the engine cool and release all water pressure before performing any maintenance or repair. The engine contains flammable fuel. Do not smoke or work near open flames while performing maintenance.
If the nozzle becomes clogged with foreign materials, such as dirt, excessive pressure may develop. If the nozzle becomes partially clogged or restricted, the pump pressure will pulsate. Clean the nozzle immediately using the nozzle kit supplied and the following instructions:
Shut off the pressure washer and turn off the water supply.
Pull trigger on gun handle to relieve any water pressure.
Disconnect the spray wand from the gun.
Remove the high pressure nozzle from the spray wand. Remove any obstructions with the nozzle cleaning tool provided and backflush with clean water.
Direct water supply 14 into nozzle to backflush loosened particles for 30 seconds.
Reassemble the nozzle to the wand.
