CAUTION: Before cleaning, be sure to stop the operation and turn the breaker off

Clean Indoor unit, outdoor unit and remote controller, wipe them with a soft cloth when dirty

CAUTION: When the packaging materials are attached to the front panel, please remove them

CAUTION: Do not touch the metal parts of the indoor unit. If you touch those parts, this may cause an injury

Check that the base, stand and other fittings of the outdoor unit are not decayed or corroded

Check that nothing blocks the air inlets and the outlets of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit

Check that the drain comes smoothly out of the drain hose during COOL or DRY operation

If no drain water is seen, is water leaking from the indoor unit?

Operate the FAN only for several hours on a nice day to dry out the inside

After operation stops, turn off the breaker for the room air conditioner

Clean the air filters and set them again

Take out batteries from the remote controller

Air filters cleaned with water or vacuum cleaner

If dust was hard to remove, were filters washed with neutral detergent thinned with lukewarm water?

Air filters dried up in the shade

Reminder: It is recommended to clean the air filters every 2 weeks

Sign off on the air filter cleaning

Warning: Handle filters with care. They are made out of paper and can be easily damaged.

Soak filter in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes if dirt is heavy

Do not remove filter from frame when washing with water

Shake off remaining water and dry filter in the shade

Do not wring out the filter when removing water from it

Remove the tabs on the filter frame and replace with a new filter

Dispose of the old filters as flammable waste

Operation with dirty filters: 1) cannot deodorize the air 2) cannot clean the air 3) results in poor heating or cooling 4) may cause odor
