Warning: This lubrication procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

If the backhoe is used in severe or abnormal working conditions, reduce the time interval by one half.

Remove dirt from grease fittings before applying grease gun.

Stabilizer cylinder lubricated?

Swing cylinder trunnion (early production) lubricated?

Swing cylinder trunnion (late production) lubricated?

Swing cylinder rod eye lubricated?

Hydra-Leveling cylinder lubricated

Lift cylinder (early production) lubricated

Lift cylinder (late production) lubricated

Tilt cylinder trunnion lubricated

Bucket pivot (early production only) lubricated

Warning: Ensure the hitch is not in use and is in a safe state before starting the procedure

Tilt cylinder rod eye lubricated

Sign off on the lubrication procedure

Check torque on ROPS mounting bolts and retorque to specifications if required.

Inspect the operator's seat and seat belt mounting.

Any damaged or worn parts found during inspection?

List the damaged or worn parts found

Sign off on the ROPS maintenance

Park the machine on a level surface.

Have the backhoe in the transport position, if so equipped, and the loader bucket rolled back at ground level.

Remove the drain plug from the elbow at the bottom of each subframe. Approximately 5-1/2 U.S. gallons will drain from each subframe.

Remove the reservoir breathers and clean as instructed.

Replace the hydraulic oil filter as instructed.

NOTE: Due to production changes, the breathers and plugs may be located on the opposite side from the side shown.

Remove the vent plug from the front of the subframe.

Fill the reservoir through the large breather opening until oil appears at the vent plug opening, then reinstall the plug.
