Initial 20 Hours Hydraulic Filter Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Lower the loader bucket to the ground and apply the parking brake.
Stop the engine.
Use a filter wrench and remove the old filter from the machine.
Lubricate the gasket on the new filter with clean oil.
Install the new filter and turn clockwise until the gasket contacts the head of the filter assembly. Continue to tighten the filter for 1/3 turn.
Start the engine and check for leaks at the hydraulic filter.
Sign off on the hydraulic filter replacement
Initial 100 Hours Foot Brake Check
Warning: Ensure the area is clear of other persons before starting the procedure.
Enter the machine's hour meter reading
Lock both pedals together with the brake pedal lock
Shift the transmission to second gear
Drive the machine forward at full throttle
Stop the machine while moving at full speed
Did the machine stop smoothly in a straight line?
Did the brake pedal effort feel firm?
If the machine did not stop in a straight line or if the brake pedal effort felt soft, describe the issue
Initial 20 Hours Engine Maintenance
During the first 20 hours of operation, or if you rebuild the engine, make sure you do the following:
Operate the machine with normal loads for the first 8 hours. Do not work the engine hard at stall speeds (wheels slowly turning or stopped and the engine running at full throttle).
Keep the engine at normal operating temperature.
Do not run the engine at idle speeds for long periods of time.
Sign off on the engine maintenance
