If any parts are missing, report the issues to the maintenance team and stop the procedure

Sign off on the crawler excavator inspection

For each adjustment operation, select adjusting shims and measure the adjusting shims individually using a micrometer, then add up the recorded values. Do not rely on measuring the entire shimming set, which may be incorrect, or the rated value shown on each shim.

Lubricate the O-ring seals before you insert them in the seats. This will prevent the O-ring seals from overturning and twisting, which would jeopardize sealing efficiency.

Apply a sealing compound on the mating surfaces when specified by the procedure. Before you apply the sealing compound, prepare the surfaces as directed by the product container.;

Cleaning solution meets the standard

All parts dried well after cleaning

Oil injected in all parts after drying

Oil injected into the bearings after drying

Sign off on the cleaning procedure

Battery disconnect switch turned OFF or negative terminal of the battery disconnected

Terminals or harnesses fastened to not interfere with the frame and covered with a rubber cap

Bolts (1) and (2) removed and fan shroud (3) removed

Bolts (1) removed and fan guard (2) removed

Hose band (1) on the radiator loosened and upper hose (2) disconnected

Hose band (1) on the radiator loosened and lower hose (2) disconnected

Radiator and hoses covered with caps
