Disconnect electrical power to the fan and control box

Disconnect compressed air service from the compressed air header

Bleed all air from the air header

Perform an OSHA approved lock-out/tag-out procedure

Open the access doors at the front of the unit

Adjust the left clamp bar to clear the slot on the right clamp bar

Ensure equipment is not running before inspection

Safety Decal is present and legible

Replace Safety Decal if missing or illegible

Remove all jewelry and loose clothing

Is the area around the rotating machinery clear and safe?

Is it safe to perform lubrication while the motor is running?

Lubricate the grease fittings with NLGI No. 2 or No. 3 multi-purpose ball bearing grease
