If leak is present, operate valve through open-close cycle while fluid is flowing to flush out valve body.

Leak stopped after flushing attempts

If leak persists, check if the valve is supplied with a DTR system.

If relief valve is leaking, repair or replace the relief valve.

If relief valve is not leaking, the slips need inspection.

To inspect or replace slips, the line must be drained.

Warning: Lubrication should be done with the valve in the open position only.
