Bendi Forklift B3/30 AC series

Key switch set to OFF and key removed

Lock Out/Tag Out procedure performed

Battery disconnected, wheels blocked and parking brake engaged

Switch assembly removed from the brake pedal frame and new switch installed

Switch set according to 'Brake Light/Accelerator Switch Adjustment'

Sign off on the brake switch replacement

Is the truck parked on a level, designated service area?

Is the parking brake set and rear wheels blocked?

Is the Lock Out/Tag Out procedure performed?

Is the key set to OFF, removed from the key switch and placed in a secure area?

Is the fill/dipstick cap opened?

Is the hydraulic reservoir drain plug located and identified?

Front tire raised and supported

Drive wheel spins without noise, rolling resistance and free play

No noticeable movement when rocking the wheel in and out on the gearbox

NOTE: There are no user serviceable parts for the gearbox assembly. The unit must be replaced as a whole.

Sign off on the Drive Wheel Gearbox Check

WARNING: Perform service only in a well-ventilated area. Do not breathe vapors. Wear protective goggles, aprons and gloves. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Keep away from heat and flame.

Position the truck on a flat surface, set the parking brake and block the wheels.

Set the key switch to OFF and remove the key.

Raise the front wheel of the vehicle and support it.

Clean the area around fill and drain plugs.

IMPORTANT: Always place support stands under the truck if lifted.

DANGER: NEVER go under a truck supported only by a jack.

[ Traction Drive Motor Service ]

1. Repeat steps 1–8 of Gearbox Replacement.

3. Remove twelve 1/2-20 X 2 screws.

4. Rotate motor to align terminals.

5. Slide motor out and attach support strap.

7. Assemble new motor in reverse.
