1 Weekly Condensate Check
Condensate Check Procedure
Open the condensate sample valve at the side of the compressor for 5 seconds and dispose of the collected condensate according to local regulations for oil containing water
Re-open the test valve and collect the condensate in the test bottle
Compare the turbidity of the sample with the 15 ppm turbidity reference bottle
Is the turbidity of the test sample more intense than the reference turbidity?
If the turbidity of the test sample is more intense than the reference turbidity, a request for servicing should be initiated, to be carried out within 2 weeks time.
The vertical position of the test outlet ensures that there is enough clean activated carbon left above this position to keep the condensate under 15 ppm for at least 2 weeks.

Oil-Injected Rotary Screw Compressor Dryer Maintenance
Safety Precautions
Refrigeration dryers of ID type contain refrigerant HFC. When handling refrigerant, all applicable safety precautions must be observed.
Contact of refrigerant with the skin will cause freezing. Special gloves must be worn. If contacted with the skin, the skin should be rinsed with water. On no account may clothing be removed.
Fluid refrigerant will also cause freezing of the eyes; always wear safety glasses.
Refrigerant is harmful. Do not inhale refrigerant vapours. Check that the working area is adequately ventilated.
Be aware that certain components such as the refrigerant compressor and the discharge pipe can become quite hot (up to 110 °C - 230 °F). Therefore, wait until the dryer has cooled down before removing the panels.
Before starting any maintenance or repair work, switch off the voltage and close the air inlet and outlet valves.

1 Monthly Oil-Injected Rotary Screw Compressor Maintenance
Condensate discharged when pressing the test button on top of the electronic water drain?
On compressors with integrated dryer
Compressor stopped, air outlet valve closed and voltage switched off?
Any dirt removed from the condenser inlet with a vacuum cleaner?
Cleaned with an air jet in the reverse direction of the normal flow using low pressure air?
Kept the compressed air nozzle more than 30 cm away from the condenser to avoid damaging the of condenser fins?
Removed dust from inside the dryer, e.g. with a vacuum cleaner?
Do not use water or solvents to clean the condenser

1 Daily Oil-Injected Rotary Screw Compressor Check
Check oil level
Check readings on display
Check air filter service indicator
Check that condensate is discharged during operation
Drain condensate
On water-cooled units: check for cooling water flow
1 Yearly Safety Valve Testing
Warning: Depressurise the compressor before removing the valve
Safety valve unscrewed one or two turns and retightened
Compressor depressurised before valve removal
Safety valve tested on a separate air line
Did the valve open at the set pressure stamped on the valve?
If the valve did not open at the set pressure, it needs to be replaced
