Use the AC adapter designed by the manufacturer for the balance.

Avoid overloading or dropping material onto the platform.

Do not spill liquids on the balance.

Discharge the static electricity of the samples, if possible.

Wipe both sides of the pan and the top of the case with an anti-static agent.

Calibration using Internal Calibration mass

Check the display is at zero. Tare if necessary

Calibration will begin automatically. When calibration is complete the balance will return to weighing

Calibration using External Calibration mass

Press [Esc] to abort the calibration at any time

Ensure the pan is empty and press [Enter] when 'LOAD 0' is displayed

Enter the value of the calibration mass (e.g., 100,000 g)

Place the selected mass on the balance and press [Enter]

Automatic Calibration Conditions

Has the internal temperature changed more than 0.5°C?

Has it been more than 4 hours since the last calibration or 15 minutes after power was applied?

Is the balance at a stable zero?

Is the 'CAL' symbol flashing on the display?

Wait for the 5 second countdown to complete for calibration to start.

Press [Esc] to delay calibration by one minute if needed.
