1 Year Heatsink Cleaning
WARNING! Use the required personal protective equipment. Wear protective gloves and long sleeves. Some parts have sharp edges.
WARNING! Use a vacuum cleaner with antistatic hose and nozzle, and wear a grounding wristband. Using a normal vacuum cleaner creates static discharges which can damage circuit boards.
Drive stopped and electrical safety precautions followed
Module cooling fan(s) removed
Cleaned heatsink with dry, clean and oil-free compressed air from bottom to top
Used a vacuum cleaner at the air outlet to trap the dust
Reinstalled the cooling fan
Sign off on the heatsink cleaning
20 Years Safety Components Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Check if the mission time of functional safety components is 20 years
If the mission time is not 20 years, stop the procedure and report to the maintenance team

Enter the remaining mission time of the whole circuit
Sign off on the safety components replacement
9 Years Auxiliary Cooling Fan Replacement
Drive stopped and electrical safety precautions followed
Lower front cover removed
Control panel power supply wires unplugged from the control unit terminal X13
Auxiliary cooling fan power supply wires unplugged from the terminal X208:FAN1
Upper front cover removed
Retaining clips released
Fan lifted up
New fan installed with arrow pointing up
Sign off on the fan replacement
9 Years Main Cooling Fan Replacement
Stop the drive and do the steps in section Electrical safety precautions before you start the work.
Undone the two mounting screws of the fan mounting plate
Turned the mounting plate downwards
Disconnected the fan power supply wires
Removed the fan mounting plate
Removed the fan by undoing the two mounting screws
Installed the new fan in reverse order. Made sure that the fan blows upwards
Reset the counter (if used) in group 5 in the primary control program
Sign off on the fan replacement
