Control panel removed from the drive

Battery cover removed using a coin

Type of battery used for replacement

Old battery disposed according to local disposal rules or applicable laws

Sign off on the battery replacement

Check quality of supply voltage

Inspect Reforming of DC circuit capacitors

Check tightness of cable and busbar terminals

If needed, tighten the cable and busbar terminals

Check ambient conditions (dustiness, moisture, temperature)

Use a soft damp cloth to clean the control panel. Avoid harsh cleaners which could scratch the display window.

Sign off on the yearly drive maintenance

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Drive stopped and disconnected from power line

Voltage measurement confirms no power

Fan assembly levered off the drive frame

Fan assembly installed in reverse order

Sign off on the fan replacement

Drive stopped and disconnected from power line

Voltage measurement confirms no power

Fan assembly lifted upwards from the front edge and removed

New fan assembly installed in reverse order

Sign off on the fan replacement

Warning: Use a vacuum cleaner with antistatic hose and nozzle. Using a normal vacuum cleaner creates static discharges which can damage circuit boards.

Drive stopped and disconnected from the power line?

No voltage measured after 5 minutes?

Clean, dry and oil free compressed air blown from bottom to top while using a vacuum cleaner at the air outlet?

Note: If there is a risk of dust entering adjoining equipment, perform the cleaning in another room.
