Is there a mains fuse failure or a Fault trip?

If there is a mains fuse failure or a Fault trip, contact ABB for replacement parts

Capacitor replacement successful?

Reform (re-age) spare part capacitors once a year according to ACS 600 Capacitor Reforming Guide (code: 64059629)

Sign off on the capacitor replacement

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure.

Enter the current usage hours of the ACx 601 unit

Is there increasing noise from fan bearings?

Is there a gradual rise in the heatsink temperature despite cleaning?

Is the frequency converter operated in a critical part of a process?

If the above checks indicate fan failure, proceed with fan replacement.

Fan can be withdrawn by removing the bottom of the frame.

Replacement fans are available from ABB. Do not attempt operation with other than ABB specified spare parts.
