Fan lifted out and cable disconnected

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure

Fan showing signs of failure (increasing noise, rising heatsink temperature)?

If no signs of failure, skip the replacement procedure

Upload a photo of the fan casing before removal

Screw removed and casing leaning down against the limiters?

Upload a photo of the disconnected cable connector

Fan replaced onto the casing’s pins?

Warning: Always remove power from the drive before starting the maintenance.

If the environment is dusty, increase the frequency of heatsink checks.

If heatsink fins are dusty, follow the cleaning procedure.

Blow clean compressed air (not humid) from bottom to top and simultaneously use a vacuum cleaner at the air outlet to trap the dust.

Note: If there is a risk of the dust entering adjoining equipment, perform the cleaning in another room.
