Appendix D – N3 Cover Removal Procedure for Various Frame Sizes

Ensure power is disconnected and wait 5 minutes

Is the charge indicating lamp off?

Loosen the mounting screw completely

Push in on the sides of the cover at points “A” and lift and remove the cover

Set the cover and snap into place and secure with the mounting screw

Loosen the two mounting screws completely

Check for excessive dust or debris

Clean fan if dust or debris is present

Check for unusual odor or leakage

Actions if abnormalities are found

Measure the voltage with a multi-tester

Is the voltage correct according to specifications?

Correct input voltage if necessary

Ground Bonding Resistance Check

Measure the ground bonding resistance with a multi-tester

Is the ground bonding resistance correct? (200V series below 100Ω, 400V series below 10Ω)

Visually check for loose secure parts

Check secure parts with a screwdriver

Visually check the terminal base for damage

Check the terminal base with a screwdriver
