Pour Scotsman Clear 1 ice machine scale remover into the reservoir

Mix a cleaning solution of 6oz of Scotsman Clear 1 scale remover with 9 cups (72oz) of 105-115°F potable water

Connect water supply to water inlet fittings using 3/8" OD tubing.

Is there a 1" anti-back flow air break between the water inlet tube end and the highest possible reservoir water level?

Connect drain tubing to drain fittings.

Route the drain tubing to building drain following local codes for air gap to drain receptacle.

Verify all connections are secure and leak-free

Is the tubing correctly sized for the new ice machine model?

Has the machine been operated without a filter?

Condenser Fins Cleaning Procedure

Ensure the machine is powered off and unplugged

Locate the condenser fins under the fan blades

Are the condenser fins visibly dirty?

Engage a refrigeration technician to clean the condenser fins
