Stop operation by pushing 'E' stop button

Unplug the machine from main power

Ensure facilities are in place to remove water from the extrudate before it reaches the puller

Check for water on the belts and ensure it is removed

Ensure the machine is powered off and locked out

Gather necessary tools and safety equipment

Front Take Up Frame Bearings and Front Plates Removal

Remove the front take up frame bearings

Apply a coating of light oil on all shafting

Grease all bearings with fittings using No. 2 Lithium base ball bearing grease

Place a few drops of oil on the roller chain

Verify that idler sprockets and idler belt pulley require no lubrication

Re-install gearbox and leave 4 mounting bolts loose

Oil shaft to protect seal when sliding on

Drive Pulleys and Front Frame Installation

Install the front take up frame bearings and front plates

Tighten front take up frame bearings and front plates
