CAUTION: Follow these important steps to assemble, tighten, and mount Blender jar quickly and correctly. INJURY MAY RESULT IF MOVING BLADES ARE EXPOSED.

Turn jar upside down so the small opening is at the top.

Place sealing ring on jar opening.

Turn the blade blades upside down and place in mouth of jar.

Check that all parts are securely fastened

Test the assembly by gently shaking the jar to ensure nothing is loose

Describe any issues encountered during assembly

Check that all parts are in place

Are the processing blades turning freely when turned counterclockwise?

Is the jar free from chips or cracks?

Ensure the use of only OSTERIZER® Blender recommended replacement parts

Ensure the motor base is not immersed in water

Clean the housing with a damp cloth (ensure the blender is unplugged first)

Put assembled jar securely into motor base ring with handle and lug in front of the right stop.

Using jar handle, turn jar to the left as far as possible to ensure the jar bottom is tightened properly.

Place assembled jar in motor base ring with jar lug against flat side of the motor base stop.

Is the jar lug resting against the flat side of the right stop?

If not, remove jar assembly and place against flat side of left stop.
