Ensure the application jurisdiction requires PROM installation
Power off the note acceptor before starting the procedure
Removing the Acceptor Module
Remove the acceptor module from the chassis
Opening the Acceptor Module
Open the acceptor module by pulling the yellow cover toward your hand and lifting up
Removing the Yellow Cover
Turn the acceptor module so the top of the cover faces you
Acceptor Module Cleaning
Preparation
Turn off the machine as per manufacturer instructions
Remove the acceptor module from the chassis
Opening the Acceptor Module
Place palm on the front of the module and fingers around the top of the yellow cover
Pull the cover toward your hand and lift up to open the module head fully
Cleaning the Note Path
Clear the note path area of any foreign objects
Wipe the note path and sensor areas with a soft damp cloth
