1 Monthly Door Seal Cleaning
Safety Precautions
Wear rubber gloves and protective goggles
Cleaning Solution Preparation
Dilute 3/4 cup (177 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach in 1 gallon (3.8 L) of water
Cleaning Process
Wipe around the door seal with diluted bleach solution
Wipe up any moisture with a dry towel or cloth after cleaning
Post-Cleaning
Leave the door open to allow the door seal to dry completely

Clean the outside of the appliance with warm water and a mild, nonabrasive household detergent.

1 Monthly Dispenser Drawer Cleaning
Preparation
Turn off the washer and unplug the power cord
Dispenser Drawer Removal
Pull the drawer straight out until it stops
Press down hard on the disengage button and pull the drawer completely out
Remove the inserts from the drawer
Cleaning Process
Clean the inserts and drawer with warm water using a soft cloth or brush
Wipe off any moisture with a dry towel or cloth after cleaning
Washer Cleaning
Care after Wash
Wipe the door and the inside of the door seal to remove moisture.
Wipe the body of the washer with a dry cloth to remove moisture.
Leave the door open to dry the drum interior.
Engage the Control Lock feature to prevent children from accidentally starting a wash cycle.
Cleaning the Exterior
Wash the door with a damp cloth on the outside and inside, then dry with a soft cloth.
Immediately wipe off any spills on the exterior.
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.

Preparation
Turn off the washer, and unplug the power cord.
Accessing the Drain Pump Filter
Open the drain pump filter cover.
Draining Water
Unclip the drain hose.
Remove the plug from the drain hose to drain the remaining water.

Remove the pump filter by twisting it counterclockwise.
