METHOD FOR REPLACING FUEL TANK BREATHER ELEMENT
WARNING
Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury.
Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
1. Open the radiator guard side cover (1) on the right side of machine, and fix it with the rod.
2. Remove mud and dirt around the breather.
3. Remove nut (3) of breather assembly (2).
4. Remove cover (4).
5. Replace breather element (5) with a new one.

2000 Hourly Wheel Loader Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Warning: Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury. Accordingly, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.
Warning: When removing the oil filler cap, the oil may spout out. Turn it slowly to release the internal pressure, then remove it.
Warning: When removing filter cover, keep pressing the filter cover by your hand and remove it. Otherwise, the filter cover may jump out and it may cause injury if the mounting bolt of the filter cover is removed carelessly since the filter cover presses the spring.
Set the bottom of bucket to be level, and lower the work equipment to the ground.
Set the parking brake switch to ON position (operate).
Stop the engine.
Open cover (1) at the right side of cab, and fix it with the bar.
Remove the cap of oil filler port (F) and plug (2) of the filter case.
250 Hourly Wheel Loader Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Warning: Do not use the battery if the battery electrolyte level is below LOWER LEVEL line.
Warning: Battery electrolyte is dangerous object. If it gets in your eyes or on your skin, wash it off with a large amount of water and consult a doctor.
Warning: Do not add the electrolyte to the battery exceeding UPPER LEVEL line.
Warning: If the battery is wiped with a dry cloth, static electricity may cause a fire or explosion.
Warning: When using compressed air, there is a danger that dirt may scatter and cause personal injury. Always wear protective equipment such as protective eyeglasses and dust mask.
Battery electrolyte level is between UPPER LEVEL line and LOWER LEVEL line.
Battery cap vent hole is clean and cap is securely closed.
Battery box cover is securely closed.
