Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!

To prevent improper adjustment by untrained personnel, load and speed control screws have tamper-proof caps.

Adjust fuel injection pressure if necessary

Check atomizing condition of nozzles

Adjust atomizing condition of nozzles if necessary

Sign off on the 1000 hourly forklift trucks maintenance

Check steering link for bending, damage and wear

Check steering knuckle for play, deformation and damage

Check for marked variation in minimum turning radius

Change oil in differential case (clutch-type lift trucks, include transmission case)

WARNING: Watch out for HOT OIL. Immediately after operations, the oil will be very hot. Wait for the oil temperature to go down before starting this maintenance operation.

Remove the oil filler plug, then remove the drain plug and drain the oil.

After draining the oil, reinstall and tighten the drain plug and add the specified amount of Komatsu Forklift oil through the oil filler.

After filling with new oil, check the oil level.

Change oil in TORQFLOW transmission case

Check and adjust fuel injection timing (diesel engine)

Perform this operation to maintain compliance with EPA Diesel Engine Exhaust regulations.

Replace LPG mixer air valve diaphragm, under normal operating conditions.

Replace more often in cold or severe service applications.

Replace O-ring for LPG tank valve.

Sign off on the 2000 hourly forklift trucks maintenance

Check wheel rims for deformation, cracking and damage

Check wheel bearings for play and abnormal noise

Check hydraulic cylinders for looseness, deformation, cracking, damage and wear

Check all piping/tubing/connectors for oil leakage, deformation or damage

Check operation of hydraulic cylinders

Check hydraulic drift of lift cylinder

Check hydraulic drift of tilt cylinders

Check movement of work equipment control lever(s)

Check forks and fork stopper for deformation, cracking, damage and wear

Operation of brake master cylinder

Oil leakage, damage and wear of brake master cylinder

Oil leakage, damage and wear of wheel cylinders

Operating condition of brake shoes

Brake adjustment lever and ratchet for wear and damage
