Overhead Guard Replacement
Remove hood and seat. See Hood and Seat Assembly section in this manual
Remove rear capscrew, washers, and vibration mount top from rear leg and counterweight
Repeat Step 2 for opposite rear leg
Remove three capscrews from cowl and front leg
Repeat above step for opposite front leg
Remove nut, washers, front capscrew, and vibration mount top from front leg and frame
Repeat above step for opposite front leg
Use a lifting device to lift overhead guard until it is just higher than the counterweight
Tag and disconnect electrical wiring for display. Remove display from display cover
Transaxle Stud Repair
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Drive tire removed and lift truck frame blocked?
Damaged stud removed using adjustable grip pliers?
Thread tap (size M14 x 1.5) run into stud hole to clean and repair any damaged threads?
Threads tested with a thread plug gauge (size M14 x1.5 - 6H)?
If threads are within specification, new stud installed using Stud Installation Tool?
Tighten studs to 80 Nem (59 Ibf ft)
Drive tire reinstalled and lugs tightened to 170Nm?
Truck removed from blocks?
2000 Hour / 1 Year Fluid Level Check
Drive tire removed and lift truck frame blocked
Check plug removed
Fluid level checked
Is fluid level adjustment necessary?
Amount of fluid added (if necessary)
Check plug (and fill plug if removed) replaced and tightened to 22 Nem (192 Ibf in)
Drive tire reinstalled and lugs tightened to 170 Nem (125 ibf ft)
Truck removed from blocks
Procedure repeated for other transaxle
Transaxle Brake Cylinder Repair
Transaxle removed from lift truck
Parking brake and traction motor removed from transaxle
Oil drained from transaxle
Snap ring in brake cylinder removed
Pressurized air directed into service brake line port in cover to force cap out of cylinder
Spring recovered from beneath cap
Seal removed from the cap and cut in two to prevent accidental reuse
Sign off on the transaxle brake cylinder repair
Transaxle Breather Repair
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Drive tire removed and lift truck frame blocked?
Breather cap removed with a flat screwdriver?
Spring removed by hand and breather ball forced out with compressed air?
6mm thread tap installed into breather using a tap wrench and breather pulled out of housing?
New breather positioned into housing by hand?
Breather driven into housing using Breather Set Tool and a nylon faced hammer?
Drive tire reinstalled and lugs tightened to 170 Nm?
Sign off on the transaxle breather repair
