Lubricate Guides and Locks as required (Use Amsoil® GHD synthetic multipurpose grease (lithium complex) for standard, freezer, and cold storage configurations. Use Mobilgrease® 28 synthetic extra-protection grease (clay) for arctic configurations.)

Check Wear of Sideshift Wear Bearings and Replace as Necessary

Inspect Breather Cap and Replace as Necessary

Replace Hydraulic Oil Filter (Replace the filter element after the first 150 to 250 hours of service and every 2000 hours or yearly thereafter.)

Inspect Hydraulic Oil Strainer and Replace as Necessary

Inspect for Visible Damage and Defects of Hydraulic Hoses, Fittings, and Clamps and Adjust, Repair, or Replace as Necessary

WARNING: DO NOT operate a lift truck that needs repairs.

If a repair is necessary, put a DO NOT OPERATE tag in the operator’s area. Remove the key from the key switch.

Inspect the lift truck every 8 hours or daily before use. Put the lift truck on a level surface. Lower the carriage and forks, and turn the key switch to the OFF position.

If repair is required, put a tag in the operator’s area that indicates the lift truck cannot be operated. DO NOT operate a lift truck until the problems are corrected.

Electrolyte and specific gravity of the battery

Battery is clean and the correct size; and weight for the lift truck

Battery restraint plates are in place

Condition of the wheels and tires

Check battery for full charge (Change if necessary) (Equalization charge approximately each month, but not more than each week.)

Check condition of restraint panel (Repair as necessary)

Check operation of power disconnect (Repair as necessary)

Check operation (Repair as necessary)

Hold on Grade Test - Capacity Load on 10% Slope

Check Condition of Contactors and Repair as Necessary

Change Oil (Standard Operation) - Hydraulic Oil - ISO VG 46 Antiwear

Change Oil (Freezer Applications) - Hydraulic Oil - Exxon Univis® HVI 26

Replace Hydraulic Oil Filter (See Parts Manual)
