Pre-Cleaning Safety Measures
Disconnect machine from mains
Cleaning Materials
Ensure cleaning materials do not attack metal, rubber, or plastic parts
Machine Parts Cleaning
Ensure all machine parts that touch the products are free from adhesive or label fragments
Remove adhesive residue with a label solvent
Clean label sensing/scanning unit with a soft cloth only
Rollers Cleaning
Drive Unit Replacement
Safety Precautions
Ensure the applicator is voltage-free and the mains plug is disconnected
Drive Unit Removal
Loosen the large hexagon bolt of the pedestal mounting
Retract the applicator housing on the rail to the front until the back of the applicator housing can be opened
Open the back of the applicator housing (three screws)
Loosen the motor cables
Remove the distributor circuit board
Loosen three screws and remove the toothed-belt tensioner
