Verify that there is 22 to 28 VAC across terminals 15 and 16.

Verify that there is 15 VDC across terminals G (+) and COM (-).

Verify that the jumper is in the 'MAN' position (shipped from factory in Manual mode).

Connect voltmeter to wire loop VDC (+) and wire loop COM (-).

Determine the DC voltage for required airflow from the Fan Calibration Curve supplied on the side of the equipment. Use the bottom (5 to 10 volts DC) scale on the chart.

Adjust the manual speed potentiometer, labeled SPD, to obtain the required voltage using a 1/8” flat bladed screwdriver. Clockwise increases airflow, counterclockwise decreases airflow.

Ensure the voltage is not set lower than 5.1 VDC or higher than 9.9 VDC to avoid motor starting problems.

Ensure the blower is turned off and disconnected from power source

Gather necessary cleaning tools (vacuum cleaner and brush)

Inspect the blower wheel and housing for dirt and dust accumulation

Use a vacuum cleaner to remove loose dirt and dust from the blower wheel and housing

Gently brush the blower wheel blades to remove stubborn dirt, ensuring not to dislodge factory balancing weights

Check that no factory balancing weights have been dislodged

Brush the entering air face between fins with a soft brush parallel to fins

Ensure no brushing perpendicular to fin orientation

Clean the coil with a vacuum cleaner
