CAUTION: The combustion chamber (firepot) is fragile. Use care when inspecting and cleaning this area.

Heat Exchanger and Flue Pipe Maintenance

Shut off power to the furnace before cleaning.

Remove the burner before cleaning.

Inspect the heat exchanger and flue pipe for scale and soot.

Brush off scale and soot from inside the drum and flue pipe using a stiff brush with a wire handle.

Remove the Flue Connector to inspect and clean the flue pipe area.

Remove the round covers on the inner front panel to access the cleaning ports.

Filter Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect the air filter(s) for the following conditions
