Check the fan motor for any damage, cracks or detergants. If there is a dust then clean it

Check Belt drive tension of the fan and in case of it re-tighten it

Check V-Belt condition of the fan and in case of the damage replace it

Sign off on the fan maintenance

Check for contamination, damage, microbial growth and corrosion

Describe the contamination, damage, microbial growth and corrosion found

Check spray nozzles for deposits

Describe the deposits found on spray nozzles

Check functionality of the conductivity sensor

Describe the issues found with the conductivity sensor

Check moisture eliminator for contamination, damage, scaling and corrosion

Describe the contamination, damage, scaling and corrosion found on moisture eliminator

Check the region downstream of droplet eliminator after cleaning

Check the fan for any damage or cracks

Check the fan for Excessive vibration

Check the Flexible connection of the fan

Control box & wiring checked for any damage

Was there any damage to the control box & wiring?

Upload a photo of the control box & wiring if damaged

Protection breaker checked and calibrated

Internal lighting checked for any damage

Was there any damage to the internal lighting?

Upload a photo of the internal lighting if damaged

Sign off on the electrical control system maintenance

The unit should be maintained in line with the manufacturer’s recommendation

For Hygienic and Clean AHU, the face of the heat wheel should be inspected regularly for dust and dirt to check if the self cleaning due to counter flow and rotation of the heat wheel is insufficient

For a small amount of dirt, use a vacuum cleaner to clear off the dirt

For more stubborn dirt, use compressed air to dislodge the dirt but handle with care so that the heat wheel media is not damaged

Finally, for firmly attached dirt in the rotor, use hot water and a mild detergent to remove the dirt

The mild detergent may be removed with high pressure water cleaner with the nozzle 300mm from the heat wheel

For disinfection, please use an isopropanol-based substance such as LIV +45

For Hygienic and Clean AHU plate heat exchangers, please use a brush to clean the inlets and the outlets for normal ventilation applications
