Read out all the faults from the controller's fault history file

Check for possible causes of faults

Describe the diagnosed problem and corrective actions taken

Was the fault history file cleared after correction?

Check the new fault history file at a later date to confirm problem resolution

Ensure proper training has been completed

Avoid loose clothing and jewelry

Remove power by disconnecting the battery

Discharge the capacitors by connecting a load across the controller’s B+ and B− terminals

Remove any dirt or corrosion from the power and signal connector areas
