Use a soft cloth to clean the window surface

Wipe slowly up and down to clean the entire width of the window

Ensure no detergent with abrasive content is used

Check that the window is not scratched

Note the Rmin/Rmax values logged on your calibration card

Locate the 'Calibrated Conformance Standard' sheet if using a GS1 calibration and conformance symbol

Click 'Go Live' and position the calibration Master Symbol as close to the red target in the live image as possible

Select 'Options → Calibrate Remote' from the main menu

Select the bullet appropriate to the type symbol your 'Calibration Symbol' represents

Enter the Rmax value (rounded to nearest integer)

Enter the Rmin value (rounded to nearest integer)

Locate the calibration standard sheet or card

Click 'Go Live' and position the calibration symbol under the guide plate

Set the laser sweep within the code from beginning to end

Select 'Options → Calibrate Remote' from the main menu
