Winterizing Your Bosch Dishwasher

Check/Clean the Large Object Trap

Clean the Stainless Steel Inner Door and Tub

Sign off on the dishwasher cleaning

Warning: The Large Object Trap may contain sharp objects. Do not reach into it.

Check if your model has the additional Micro Filter

Inspect the Large Object Trap for foreign objects

To remove the Large Object Trap, grasp the ring handle and turn it counter-clockwise 1/4 turn

Examine the Large Object Trap for debris

If debris is found, turn the trap upside-down and tap it on a surface to dislodge the debris

Flush the Large Object Trap clean by holding it under running water

You may also remove the other filter system components and flush them clean by holding them under running water

To reinstall the Large Object Trap, return the filter system components to their places

Warning: Ensure the dishwasher is turned off and unplugged before starting the procedure.

Lower rack pulled out of the dishwasher tub

Spray nozzles flushed under running water

Lower spray arm pressed back into its installed position

Upper rack removed from the dishwasher

Locking nut turned counter-clockwise 1/8 turn and removed

Spray nozzles flushed under running water

Warning: Always use non-abrasive cleaners for cleaning the dishwasher.

Clean the outer edges of the inside door panel

Clean the Exterior Door Panel Colored Doors with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water

Clean the Stainless Steel doors with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner

Clean the Door Gasket with a damp cloth

Sign off on the dishwasher cleaning
