Check if fan blades need cleaning

Clean the fan blades with a soft cloth if necessary

If washing is necessary, ensure the fan motor is covered to prevent moisture damage

Clean the motor with a soft cloth if necessary

Use a solvent of warm water and mild soap to clean the cabinet interior

Avoid using steel wool, caustic soap, abrasive cleaners, or bleach

Check door gasket(s) for proper seal after replacement

Remove the shelves and pilasters from the unit

Clean shelves and pilasters with mild soap and warm water

Remove shelves and shelf brackets before removing pilasters

Disconnect the electrical power from the unit

Remove the front cover and base cover with a screwdriver

Remove dirt, lint, etc. from the finned condenser coil using a soft brush and/or vacuum in a vertical direction

Clean the condenser with a commercial condenser coil cleaner

Straighten any bent condenser fins with a fin comb

Reassembly and Power Restoration

Reinstall the front cover and base cover
