If cleaning is carried out in the same room where the unit is normally operated, use a soft brush.

If the installation can be taken apart and the cleaning is carried out in another room (or outdoors), compressed air can be used.

Was compressed air used for cleaning?

Fan rotation should be prevented when using compressed air for heatsink cleaning to prevent bearing wear.

Sign off on the heatsink cleaning

Is the cooling fan making increased noise?

Enter the current heatsink temperature

Is the frequency converter operated in a critical part of a process?

If the above conditions are met, proceed with fan replacement

Was the bottom of the frame removed successfully?

Upload a photo of the removed fan

Enter the model number of the replacement fan

Enter the current hours of the ACx 600 intermediate circuit

Is the frequency converter loading normal?

Is the ambient temperature within the acceptable range?

If the ambient temperature is high, take measures to lower it.

Is there a mains fuse failure or a Fault trip?

If there is a mains fuse failure or a Fault trip, contact ABB immediately.

Only use ABB specified spare parts for replacement.
