Washing Instructions for Full Body Harness

Spot clean the ExoFit full body harness with water and mild soap solution.

Launder the harness using bleach-free detergent. Ensure water temperature does not exceed 160°F (70°C).

Remove pads from ExoFit XP by undoing snaps and zippers.

Place harness in laundry bag to prevent entanglement and protect washing machine.

Use bleach-free detergent for both harness and pads.

Drying options for harness and pads

Replace pads before using the harness. Ensure proper placement and secure snaps and zippers.

Ensure retrieval harness pads have openings for shoulder D-rings.

Check hardware for damage and defects

Ensure hardware is free of sharp edges, burrs, cracks, worn parts, or corrosion

Check PVC coated hardware for cuts, rips, tears, holes in the coating

Verify release tabs of the buckle work freely and click when engaged

Inspect parachute buckle spring

Check webbing for frayed, cut, or broken fibers

Inspect for tears, abrasions, mold, burns, or discoloration
